Living and growing up in Newquay and with over 20 years’ experience in the construction and property maintenance sector, I started in the early 1990’s as an Architectural Technician with The National Trust. There, I prepared drawings for projects ranging from new farm buildings to drawings supporting Listed Building applications for repair/renovation works. This continued during vacations from Cornwall College and The University of the West of England, Bristol.
In 1998 I joined the Building and Design department of the well-respected firm of Chartered Surveyors, Stratton & Holborow. There I continued as an Architectural Technician working on projects including new domestic dwellings, extensions, attic conversions, barn conversions, new agricultural buildings, office refurbishments and Listed Building renovation works.
